About Iris and Oak Boutique

I'm just starting building out my website--jumping over from Etsy. I'm really excited to offer my full transfer paper library here in an easier-to-consume layout. And if you're here for ready-to-wear earrings, I've got you covered too!

Please let me know if I can help in any way, and thank you for your business!

I’m a 30-something tech worker by day and a creative meddler by night. In the early pandemic I started trying out all kinds of crafts and hobbies I could do at home. I went through furniture restoration, novice woodworking, gardening (I have a black thumb) and all kinds of other things. In early 2023 I got hooked making clay earrings and instantly made over a hundred pairs! Gifting to friends and family can only take you so far.

When I decided I enjoyed making earrings and transfer paper enough to start my own business, I kept trying to think of two items—two ideas that I could put together to make a fun business name. As it turns out, I’m from Tennessee and live outside of Raleigh NC. If you don’t know, irises are the state flower of Tennessee and Raleigh is the City of Oaks. It seemed to fit!

If you have any questions, want to order something custom, or just want to chat earrings, shoot me an email: amanda@irisandoak.shop.
